Thanatos Candle

Thanatos is the Greek God of Peaceful Death and the twin brother of Hypnos. He is said to arrive when a person's time given by the Fates is about to expire. With a gentle touch of his hand, he gathers the souls of the deceased and escorts them to the Underworld.

Our Thanatos candle is created from 100% natural soy wax and poured into glossy black glass jars. Each candle includes: 

• Raw Obsidian
• Tumbled Onyx
• Tumbled Labradorite
• Poppy
• Peony
• Labradorite and Obsidian chips
• Black bat wing heart charm

This candle can be used as: 

• An offering or devotional piece to Thanatos.
• A piece for your ancestor altar.

Scent: Cypress Bayberry. Includes notes of fir, incense, moss, patchouli, cypress, bayberry and eucalyptus.
