Candle FAQ

What kind of wax are your candles made of?

Our candles are crafted from 100% natural soy wax that is biodegradable, clean burning, vegan and non-toxic to you and your pets. Any dyes or glitters within the candle are also biodegradable and eco-friendly.

Should I take the crystals out of my candle before burning it?

You can take the crystals out of the wax, or light your candle with the crystals still inside. It's entirely up to you! However, we do recommend removing any decorative flowers and charms within the candle prior to burning to avoid fire hazards. Soot from the candle flame may form on your crystals if you choose to keep them within the wax. Do not touch the crystals immediately after blowing your candle out. They may be hot to the touch. Once they are cooled off, you can gently wipe any soot off.

Are the crystals real in your candles?

Yes! All of our candles include real, consciously sourced crystals purchased from small businesses in the United States.

What kind of fragrance oil do you use?

We use a line of fragrance oils that are certified clean burning scents. This means that there are no phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins or acute toxins in our candles. You can learn more about the line of clean burning scents we use here

My candle arrived and the wax has wet spots. What do I do?

Although soy wax is a great natural alternative for candles, it's known to be a bit temperamental! Temperature changes can cause the wax to "sweat" out some of the fragrance oil. This will not affect the quality or performance of your candle. Simply wipe away the excess oil with a paper towel and you're good to go.
