Thanatos Tealights

Thanatos is the Greek God of Peaceful Death and the twin brother of Hypnos. He is said to arrive when a person's time given by the Fates is about to expire. With a gentle touch of his hand, he gathers the souls of the deceased and escorts them to the Underworld.

Our Thanatos tealights are created from 100% natural soy wax. Each tealight includes: 

• Labradorite chips
• Obsidian chips
• Poppy 
• Peony 

These tealights can be used as: 

• An offering or devotional piece to Thanatos.
• A piece for your ancestor altar.
• A way to honor your deceased loved ones.
• A part of a ritual involving endings, new beginnings, or transitions. 
• However you feel called to use it!

Scent: Cypress Bayberry. Includes notes of fir, incense, moss, patchouli, cypress, bayberry and eucalyptus. 

Each crystal has a unique shape and size, as these are a product of nature. Imperfections and blemishes may occur. No two pieces are the same.  

You do not have to worship or work with this deity to use this candle. This candle is solely inspired by their mythology and energy.
